SR#58 and Just Add Ink Challenge

I am shocked that I actually got to compete a challenge the day it was issued. Usually they sit on my desk for days and then at the last minute I throw something together. I used an old SU stamp set A Little Bit of Happiness.
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, White all SU Ink; Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink
Small SU Heart punch and black gingham ribbon were also used. I know it is hard to see the picture but I used Crystal Effects on the heart with the dots and the tiny flower.

I needed to add a few more wedding cards to my stash and I love the SU stamp set To Have and To Hold. This is my first time adding flowers and jewels to a card. I like the results! I inked the stamp with a marker and colored in the sprinkles and did a little shading with the markers as well.

I used my color coach as my inspiration for supplies on this card. these are not colors I typically use but I do like them all together.

Saturday Sketch Challenge 187

Hello!
I couldn't sleep last night so I thought I would complete the sketch Challenge from: http://stamping411.blogspot.com/
This time I chose to use a stamp set that had no flowers in it. I am a farm girl and I love this Stamping Up stamp set....Farm Life.
I used Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Basic Grey SU paper. I colored the image in with a blender pen and used a white gel pen on the clouds after sponging the sky. The button is tied on with linnen thread.

This is a cute and simple Valentine I made for my son to give his grandparents next month.
Recipe:
Stamps: Watercolor minis, Sweet Talk....both Stamping Up
Paper: SU Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Ink: SU Real Red, Pear Pizzazz
I used the cuttlebug swiss dots folder on the pear pizzazz and then my score pal on the white cardstock. The stamped image in mounted with dimentionals.
